Description
Unlike standard sand filters, our Multi-Media Filtration System utilizes a stratified bed of high-density media. By layering materials of different sizes and densities (Anthracite, Sand, and Garnet), the system traps larger particles at the top and finer particles deeper in the bed. This “depth filtration” allows for longer run times and higher flow rates with less frequent backwashing.
